21-22 Youth Artists' Company Series
13, Jr.
Evan Goldman is plucked from his fast-paced, preteen New York City life and plopped into a sleepy Indiana town following his parents divorce. Surrounded by an array of simpleminded middle school students, he needs to establish his place in the popular pecking order. Can he situate himself on a comfortable link of the food chain by throwing an unforgettable bar mitzvah ... or will he dangle at the end with the outcasts?!?

About the Youth Artists' Company
The Theatre Macon Youth Actors' Company was established in 1988 to provide Middle Georgia youth with the opportunity to practice and grow their talents in theatre arts. The company produces two to three full-length productions each year which may include musicals, dramas, or comedies. Open auditions are held for all productions. Youth currently in grades 5-12 in a public, private, or homeschool are invited and encouraged to attend. Occasionally, we also offer theatre workshops specifically geared toward increasing the depth knowledge our youth artists have in theatre related fields.
In 2019, the Youth Actors' Company was renamed to the Youth Artists' Company as the program had grown to include a variety of artists including actors, technicians, and musicians.
