Theatre Macon's COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines

Theatre Macon remains committed to the safety of our patrons, employees, cast members, and volunteers. Your well-being is our top priority, and we have implemented necessary precautions to create a safe environment for all who enter our building. The measures we've implemented below are subject to change in response to developing guidelines from the city, state, federal government, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Theatre Macon has implemented the following safety and health guidelines in response to COVID-19:

  1. Mask wearing is now optional for vaccinated patrons, staff and volunteers. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged, but not required, and we request masks be worn at all times for those who are unvaccinated.

  2. It is essential that production staff, cast, crew, volunteers, or audience members refrain from entering the theatre if they are unwell. We will make every accommodation possible in order for everyone to feel empowered to stay home if they feel unwell.

  3. Any cast or crew member, regardless of vaccination status, will be required to submit a negative COVID test if they begin to exhibit symptoms at any point during the production process.

  4. Performers must be fully vaccinated with an FDA or WHO authorized vaccine and must show proof of vaccination at their audition.

Please plan ahead accordingly and thank you for your cooperation as Health and Safety guidelines and Theatre Macon protocols develop. These guidelines were created with the health and safety of our theatre employees, production staff, cast, volunteers, and audience members always at the forefront. Protocol will be adjusted as the guidance from the CDC recommends.
