Video Audition Information

Theatre Macon is excited to announce auditions for the production of White Christmas

About the Production Process:

  • All performers are required to show proof of vaccination at auditions.

  • For the duration of the rehearsal and performance process, the cast and crew will practice sanitization and the utilization of masks. 

  • The first cast meeting/rehearsal will take place in person on Monday, October 18 at 7:00pm at Theatre Macon.

  • Rehearsals will take place at Theatre Macon, Mondays through Fridays from 7:00-9:00pm. Music and “staging” will be learned during this time

  • The production runs LIVE December 3-19, 2021.

About the Virtual Audition Process:

  • Video Audition Submissions will be accepted Sunday, September 26 through Sunday, October 3 at midnight.

    • Click on the “Video Audition Submission” button to submit your video.

  • Callbacks will be held on Thursday, October 7 at 7:00pm at Theatre Macon if we need to see anyone dance, sing, or read. Those individuals will be notified no later than October 6, 2021.

  • Please complete the “ Virtual Audition Form” prior to submitting your audition video (this will allow our team to follow up if we haven’t received or are having issues viewing your video).

  • Cast consists of 6 Men/7 Women/Up to 12 Ensemble. Visit the Character Breakdown page for more information

  • Video Audition should include the following:

    • First and Last Name

    • The name of the role(s) you are auditioning for (please include Ensemble if interested)

    • Sing your prepared audition song

  • Notes about your Audition Song:

    • The quality of the video is not important as long as we can hear and understand you. (Don’t feel like you need to over edit. Keep it simple.)

    • Limit to songs from the musical theatre repertoire 

    • Limit songs to 16 Bars (or 30 seconds) in length. 

    • Please sing your song with karaoke or piano accompaniment. No a cappella auditions.

    • Don’t take yourself too seriously. Have fun!
