Theatre Macon is a non-profit organization founded in 1986. Our theatre employs a full-time Artistic Director, as well as many contracted staff members. The theatre is also governed by a Board of Directors. For more information please click here.

6. What about your season subscription packages and how do I purchase season tickets?
Season subscriptions go on sale annually in the Spring for the season beginning in August. Season tickets may be purchased through the end of the run of the first show of the season. We have several subscription packages available and may be purchased via cash, check, debit cards, Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, or Discover. Season tickets may be purchased by mail, phone, walk-in, online, or prior to/during intermission of a performance.

8. What about your Youth Artists' Company?
The Theatre Macon Youth Artists' Company was established in 1988 to provide Middle Georgia youth with the opportunity to practice and grow their talents in theatre arts. The company produces two to three full-length productions each year which may include musicals, dramas, or comedies. Open auditions are held for all productions. Youth currently in grades 5-12 in a public, private, or homeschool are invited and encouraged to attend. Occasionally, we also offer theatre workshops specifically geared toward increasing the depth knowledge our youth artists have in theatre related fields.
9. What are the theatre's box office hours?
Box Office hours on days indicated are 10:00am - 3:00pm. The Box Office will also be open one hour prior to curtain on performance days.

11. Where can I park when I attend Theatre Macon?
A credit card only parking deck ($1.00/hour) is located directly behind Theatre Macon with the entrance located on Poplar Street. A free (Friday-Sunday) parking deck is located adjacent to the Douglas Theatre with the entrance located directly between the Douglas Theatre and the parking garage itself. Street-side parking may also available on surrounding streets.
12. Can I dine near by the theatre?
Yes. There are many local restaurant options located in downtown Macon. A Thai restaurant, LaDDa Thai, is located in the space adjacent to our theatre and is available for convenient pre-performance dining.
